The Mindset to Solve Anything

PAST
PRESENT
FUTURE

"If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." Isaac Newton

To make progress is to require an understanding of what is past: whether it is understanding the historical context of the music written, or to understand the psychological concepts behind a team management methodology.

"Expect the unexpected."

Preparation for anything must include room to take unforeseen elements into account, staying agile with both strategies and mindset. Curiosity, flexibility, and silver-lining focus are critical to managing confounding circumstances or interfering factors in any problem.

Time is merely another dimension from which we can draw perspective, just as we do in 3-dimensional space.

Teaching, training, design, and accessibility work together to maintain concepts into the future. The future doesn't have anything new to offer without those now who work to convey and document everything we know to build upon.

CROSS-DISCIPLINARY SOLUTIONS

I have always run a fairly unusual connection between technology and music - a natural inclination towards systems analysis, patterns, and structure has granted me an extensive web of concepts that I use to design better instructions, better interfaces, and better systems for all kinds of people.
